This will start a revived Christian Aid Week in the town, after the annual event was postponed last year due to a lack of organisers.
Methodist minister the Rev Chris Eddy is leading a team of volunteers, which is running the week through Saltburn Churches Together.
Offers to help with the house-to-house collecting would be welcome on 01287-623245.
It is hoped a lunch and informal service will be held in a few weeks time.
